The Jurist Publication: Call for Articles Submission
Call for Papers for the 26th Edition of the Annual Jurist Journal
In our quest to promote academic scholarship, and to boost resources and avenues for original contributions to fields and professions to the law field and career path, we hereby call for papers and contributions to the 26th edition of *The Jurist Journal* of the Law Students Society, University of Ilorin.
Here are the guidelines for contributions and papers:
1. The Jurist Journal is open to diverse contributions to all legal topics (all papers bordering on contributions to legal education and the law field are allowed). However, preference would be given to well-researched and plagiarism-free contributions that expands the borders of current legal thought, deal with contemporary legal issues or examine emerging legal fields and trends.
2. All papers must be original, and must not have been published elsewhere. Papers published elsewhere after acceptance but before publication would not be considered and published.
3. All papers and contributions must state the title of the paper and make of the author(s) on the first page.
4. Citations and referencing must be in accordance with the National Association of Law Teachers Unilorin Citation Guide referencing style, available at www.nalt.ng.org. Papers that do not conform with the stipulated referencing style shall not be considered and accepted.
5. All papers must be typed on A4 standard paper, with the body of the text complying with the font size 12 and footnotes complying with the font size 10. All footnotes must be in the body of the text.
6. The body of all papers must comply with line spacing 2.0. Long quotes must complying with line spacing 1.5.
7. The abstract must not be more than 300 words, and the body of the paper must follow immediately thereafter in the submission.
8. All papers shall be a maximum of 15 pages-long, and a minimum of 7 pages in length. Shorter papers would not be accepted.
9. Submissions that do not comply with the guidelines shall be rejected, or returned back to the author to ensure compliance, or as might be considered by the Editorial Board.
